Kristen Forbes Cuddy joined the team at DiOrio Law in July 2012 with experience in commercial law. She served as a law clerk for the Rhode Island Superior Court and as a legal intern with both the New York State Division of Human Rights and with Bear, Stearns & Co. in New York.
Kristen earned her J.D. from New York Law School in 2008, and was the recipient of an Excellence in Public Service Certificate. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Rhode Island with minors in Philosophy and Spanish in 2005, and a certificate for Outstanding Accomplishment and Performance in the Honors Program.
She is admitted to practice law in all state courts in Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, and Massachusetts, and the United States District Court for the Districts of Rhode Island and Massachusetts. She is a member of the Rhode Island Bar Association, the New York Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
Kristen volunteers as a mentor for Year Up, a non-profit empowering young adults to go from poverty to professional careers in a single year. She is an active member of the Rhode Island and Newport Yacht Clubs. She is an accomplished competitive synchronized team figure skater and was a member of the Team USA where she competed internationally.
